Patron Friendly Pages - Artist Statements

Regarding: International networks and search engine results

Dear Artists - Remember that your content is routinely submitted to search engines by us and currently is / or shortly will become available across most international networks and search results. Google your name and see if it is already listed!  (You of course always have the option of making your page private to friends only by selecting that option in your page Settings section).

Consequently, you may want your Artists2artists page to be "patron friendly" so lovers of your work can learn the most about your art and how to contact you if they are interested.

You should also consider including an 'artist statement' on your page, both for the benefit of your visitors and for future initiatives provided by us, e.g., "Artist Spotlight", "Featured Art" etc. across print and/or network publications.

Thank you,
A2a Editor

* for AD.C members: if you require assistance on writing an artist statement please see "How to Write an Artist Statement" and other resources in the article database.
