Anthony “Tony” Clark

Round Rock, Texas
512-203-0782 - clarkan@sbcglobal.net

Tony was born in 1966 in Lubbock,

Texas. He has lived primarily in Dallas and Austin and the surrounding areas. At the age of 6, Tony began learning to play guitar. I played a lap guitar as I was too small to hold a standard guitar. His creative self began at a young age.

Over the years he leaned to play a little piano and learned the basics of music composition and studied voice at The University of Texas at Austin. I recall taking one drawing class but not much came of it. I was probably too involved in the musical aspect of creativity.

At 44 years of age, after working for more than 2 decades for Corporate America, he decided to teach himself something new, something that would be creatively expressive and fun to learn and do.

In June 2011, Tony left Corporate America and now claims the right of professional artist.

Anthony Clark is an emerging visual artist living in Round Rock, Texas. He uses reverse stippling and classical techniques to express the world and universe around him.  His work has been juried and displayed at the Round Rock Art Space, and select pieces currently hang in several private collections.

His works and contact information can be found at www.pencilandcolor.com.
