I am a painter, printmaker, and photographer. My work is narrative in nature with close attention to abstract elements such as composition, texture and form. My interest in multi-cultural traditions, legends and folklore evolved into a personal mythology, constantly developing, and expressed in an array of art images and materials.
I earned my MA in art from Columbia University, New York City, NY, and MFA in Studio Arts from California State University, Los Angeles.
My prints and paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the country, have received many awards and were featured in numerous solo shows. I have been published in several newspapers and magazines, including In Michiana, The George Washington University Literary Review, Chicago BAC Journal, Indigo 2009 Anthology and more. My painting ‘Raven’ appeared on the cover of the Summer Issue of Ink Filled Page magazine.
My works can be found in numerous private and public collections including the "Lerner Theater Collection" curated by the Midwest Museum of American Art, Elkhart IN.
At this time 6 of my big painting are a part of Sightline Exhibit at Century Center, curated by the South Bend Museum of Art, South Bend, IN
