This Land Devours

"Curator’s Comment: This Land Devours is a suggestive sculpture by title if not also by design. The natural environment in which the work is seated draws obvious connections between the tree branch and root structure, but also contrasts the…"

artist statement

Our lives a chaos where footfall far exceeds distance. My work is a description of the things we lose, the things we take, the things we find and the things we leave behind.
