Welcome to the site! I enjoy the three mixed media works you’ve posted so far, and appreciate the descriptions include sand. The eroded surface of this piece is suggestive of elemental forces and erosion, or a cool metallic patina. I find the pale blue pigment particularly striking against the lower chroma grey. It reads as two layers, but the analogous hues also create a smooth visual transition. I find the title curious, and slightly humorous in its specificity of the non-objective image. You’re gonna miss me could pertain to the weathered down, scoured surface, or be purely elegiac.
