Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?" she said, "no one."

I like those subtitles too.
Do I see a couple arguing behind the foot on the left?
I am guessing that you may be one of those artists who are not getting their due, because people are scared, jealous, or for whatever reason avoiding you.
I go through that all the time.
Klimt was highly disapproved of in his time you must know.
He must have enjoyed that.
Super way to handle the figure, and really say something personal?
Posted some time back, I revisited the piece ‘Women Where Are They?...’ and enjoyed the murky color palette. The fleshy warm tones melt into the inky blues, making the prone figures shift back and forth in space. The alternate handling of the vertical pair of legs with the squares of faint patterns is more organic patchwork than Cubistic modeling. The narrative aspects insinuated by the title are mysterious, while the position of the legs suggests a female stepping into water. I also think the square format of the piece adds an interesting tension for the viewer, as the cropping implies a voyeuristic vantage point, while denying the traditional window frame. I understand the comments that were made when the work was initially posted, and can also detect a loose thread to Klimt. Many of the figurative works you have balance flatness of the female form with patterned inclusions, but in a looser and less stylized manner. I do hope and look forward to you posting more work on the site.
