It is great to be a new part of the group. I am a sculptor, and also run a business for mold making and casting services. It would be great to get some feedback on my work and website at I hope these forums grow, I have gained so much by participating in the discussions at and more recently

I just wanted to let you know a fantastic sculpture Julianne is being a Featured Artist this week in the group TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. Since you are all involved in this field I would love for you to check out her feature and offer any feedback or help ideas. This is one of our first sculptor's feature and I would really love to see it be successful! Our group is different from yours-both are great-I would just like to see more of a diverse type of artist being able to be Featured and receive the type of attention they deserve! They only have one week as a Feature (as some may know) unlike here where there is an ongoing monologue of help! Please give Julianne 10 minutes of your time! Thanks so much!-Sloane

Hello, I'm a painter, new to sculpting, but I absolutely love it! I am frustrated though, since I am just starting out and have lots to learn and am working in a very limiting medium for small sculptures (polymer clay). I have sold some and have several commissions but I am not in the big league like you guys. I would like to learn to work large in a permanent medium such as bronze, but it seems like a long way off... I am hoping to find a local foundry/classes so I can learn out here in the Pacific NW. Cheers!

Finally made the decision to retire from something I didn't want to do in the first place. So far I have been in the studio each and everyday enjoying the intuitive approach. I have several pieces going on at the same time and at each turn, an interesting option is presented. Belt tightening will be necessary but I have faith that it will work out. I don't wear a watch anymore and I am enjoying my music.

Thanks for creating this group Christopher. My sculptures are kinetic multimedia installations. They have a moving component powered manually or by electric motors. Audio processing brings the sound generated by these machines to life. The audio component can be made available to viewers either through headphones or speakers.
